Thursday, August 11, 2005's update

Inquirer sports writer Keith Pompey spoke with Terrell Owens at his home earlier today and the receiver admitted to having a verbal altercation Tuesday with offensive coordinator Brad Childress.

When asked if he told Childress not to speak to him unless Owens spoke to him first, Owens replied, "Exactly, I did say that, I am an honest person. I did say that."

He said that [Childress] was "antagonizing me. He was not talking to me in a business setting."

Owens, his agent Drew Rosenhaus and two other men got into two cars and left the property in the early afternoon. Rosenhaus left in one vehicle with his brother and Owens was in his green truck with an unidentified man.

Rosenhaus had arrived at Owens' home a little before 11 a.m. and went inside.

Back at camp, coach Andy Reid addressed the media this morning, confirming that he sent Owens home over an "in-house dispute."

"I did send him home. He's expected to return next Wednesday," Reid said. "It's in-house business and it's going to stay in house. I'll work it out with T.O. I'm not going to sit here and turn it into a bash session."

Isn't this ridiulous? I've met TO.
He visited my restaurant/bar in LA last year before training camp began.I grew up in Philly and it was very cool to have him come to my place and be so nice to the bartenders and customers.
He didn't drink any alcohol.Hung out with ego.
But this is childish.

Reluctantly,we have to work out a trade and get him out of there.
"If Coach Reid wants to be a man"??? See ya.
I have one question for TO:
How many times did you go to the NFC Championship game with the Niners? And how many Super Bowls have you been to?With what team?
Decide what's important and grow up,dude.

If he acts up again either have him sit at home the the duration of the season. He would hate that because his ego is so huge. Or trade him if the Eagles can find a valueable player.

Man how could he have screwed this up so bad?! TO had a good thing going here in Philly. A Superbowl contender, a quaterback that could get the him the ball halfway down the field. And most important, fans that adored him. He coulda been elected mayor in a landslide of epic proportions. He doesn't realize that he was damn lucky that he got the contract that he got from the Eagles. Now what team in its right mind whould give him anything close to what TO thinks he deserves?

Isn't it ironic that in a commercial where he plays the part of underarm B.O. So all you Philly fans thanks for taking the B.O. out of San Francisco. Please let him play the second game of the season so after he stinks the place up our D.B.s can play the part of right guard. Why doesn"t his agent take some of the millions he has already recieved and enroll t.o. in a public speaking class so at least he can present his arguement in a professional and dignified manner rather than a spoiled brat who doesn"t have the dignity to keep his mother out of this instead chooses to drag her along through his garbage. So you really think the Lord approves huh dummy. Oh by the way SHUT UP and HONOR the contract you signed other wise your word carrys about as much weight as a popcorn fart in a hurricane. One last point 49 mil isn"t enough for your family right. Well Boo Hoo. My hard working family can only afford to go to one or two gamees a year at best because of inflated prices on everything from tickets to beer so you can have adulations, money and fame. A junior flip like you would never make it in Rodeo.
