Big play in Little League

Congratulations to the Council Rock Newtown Little League Baseball team that advanced to the World Series in Williamsports.

In case you missed it, the boys from Bucks County came from behind to beat Toms River (N.J.), 4-3, the represent the Mid-Atlantic region.

They will play Hawaii (Northwest) in the first game of the World Series on Friday at 4 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2.

Look for coverage all week on Philly.com and The Inquirer.
